for my husband, yes. he is my family. i have my original family, of course, but i can call them via phone or internet, or whatever. it already feels like another country and we're only 4 hours away... so yup, i would. but dont tell him that, please, or he'll send me to california where i OH so wont fit in!
I am facing a version of this question this year. The move probably won't be out of the country but it may very well be out of state. So, yes. Of course, I do get to bring along our two children and our cat too. The phone, internet, old fashioned letter writing and of course air travel make the separation not as extreme as it would have been in the past.
